I have used Precision once when I first bought my home and the 6-year old door motor was not working. They came and installed new springs on the door and a new mother board in the opener. 13 years later, I had my first problem. I now have a new garage door opener, new "eyes", a new switch and a replacement spine on the door due to prior damage. It is running better than ever! The new opener is so quiet, you won't even hear it inside the house.

Lots of garage door companies in the area, but I've been curious about Precision ever since we moved back to Florida in 2021 and started seeing their TV ads. After our door opener stopped opening, and I thought after 4 years it would be a good idea for some regular door maintenance, I set up a Saturday service appointment using Precision's website. Dylan arrived, explained his process for assessing our needs, and then went to work. He let me know that our door sensors wiring connections were improperly done, our door hardware needed general tightening, and our primary door springs were wearing out and were on the road to failure. I gave him the approval to fix all of it, and he was finished faster than I expected. He did a great job!. The door is more quiet now, the springs are working great, he lubricated the chain, and rewired the sensors and refreshed the opener's programming. It cost more than I was expecting, but he did a great job, answered all my questions, and now we feel much better about the condition of our door and opener as we prepare for our next hurricane season. Thank you Precision and thank you Dylan!

Tech was nice and figured out the issue with my door motor pretty quickly. But that’s where the good service ends, sadly. The technician was quick to upsell me over priced goods that aren’t even meant for residential homes, but heavy duty commercial motors. Either I replace my circuit board for the cost of a whole new residential motor or buy a commercial one for an extreme price. There was no in between. This “service” seemed more like a up sale than an actual problem solving and general service visit. Not calling or referring again

Thank you for your quick response, same day service. Mr Enlow was very professional. He gave a detailed explanation besides the broken but what other parts, rollers, that needed to be replaced. Once giving the ok he got the the repair completed well within the estimated time. He then showed me everything he replaced and explained the 7 year warranty on parts. I noticed the garage door making a new noise (it was very noisy anyway) but this one was very loud and squeeky ! The system is 8 years old, so I assumed needed new springs. I went to google reviews, and this company showed very high ratings, and was open on SUNDAY (today!!!). I called and the lady was very nice and informative and said a truck would be out today !!! with no extra charge !!! Wayne arrived (very nice, knowledgeable, and efficient !!!) asked me to operate the door, and said do you see that ? pointing to the "spring anchor" (piece of wood in the middle holding the tension bar and springs in the middle)"It's coming off the wall !!!". I hadn't noticed ! He said it could have caused serious damage (bodily as well as property) if it had broke free !!! He quickly set to work anchoring it correctly. We also needed springs and bearings and he lubed the whole door. We appreciate Wayne Madore's knowledge and skill very much !!! My advice : get professional advice from somebody like Wayne before you get yourself or family hurt by trying to do it yourself !! Just my 2 cents ...

After waiting for over two weeks for service from a different Polk County, Florida garage door company that I had used for many years, I was told that the technician would be here on Thursday. After waiting all day on Thursday and not hearing from him by 3:30 p.m., I knew he was not coming. I then called the office and was assured that he would arrive at my residence that day. By 5:00 p.m., with no call from the technician or the company to explain anything, I knew that I nor my business mattered to them. I immediately called Precision Overhead and was greeted by a very professional young lady who immediately set up an appointment for the next day. She also immediately emailed me the information regarding my 10-2 window for the appointment, the technician’s name and other pertinent information regarding the company and its’ employees. What a difference in companies! I must say that Precision Overhead exceeded my expectations with their “professionalism and caring attitude” from my initial conversation on late Thursday afternoon to early Friday afternoon when everything regarding my garage door worked perfectly. I called Precision late on Saturday, looking for an appointment one day the following week. They gave me an appt the very next day....Sunday! The gal on the phone, Brie, was very sweet. And, the service rep was courteous, kind, and took the time to explain things to me. I'm nearly 80 and know nothing about garage doors. The whole process was much less traumatic than I expected due to Josh's kindness and expertise.
