Was quoted for over $1,700 for a motor replacement. Dealing with a dying parent, I had the first company I found, come out. Wish I did more research. They we twice as much as other companies. When I asked the installer why so much, he said higher quality products. You can get the motor I got for Lowes for $200. I was robbed.

Call was made late morning, same day service. Tech’s timeframe was a 4 hr window, arrived right in the middle. Received a text and a phone call from the tech saying they were 20 mins out. I have used Precision once when I first bought my home and the 6-year old door motor was not working. They came and installed new springs on the door and a new mother board in the opener. 13 years later, I had my first problem. I now have a new garage door opener, new "eyes", a new switch and a replacement spine on the door due to prior damage. It is running better than ever! The new opener is so quiet, you won't even hear it inside the house.

Wow! I called for service at noon and Lyka arrived at 2! He was on time, courteous and provided options that gave me the information needed to make the right decisions for my repairs. Lots of garage door companies in the area, but I've been curious about Precision ever since we moved back to Florida in 2021 and started seeing their TV ads. After our door opener stopped opening, and I thought after 4 years it would be a good idea for some regular door maintenance, I set up a Saturday service appointment using Precision's website. Dylan arrived, explained his process for assessing our needs, and then went to work. He let me know that our door sensors wiring connections were improperly done, our door hardware needed general tightening, and our primary door springs were wearing out and were on the road to failure. I gave him the approval to fix all of it, and he was finished faster than I expected. He did a great job!. The door is more quiet now, the springs are working great, he lubricated the chain, and rewired the sensors and refreshed the opener's programming. It cost more than I was expecting, but he did a great job, answered all my questions, and now we feel much better about the condition of our door and opener as we prepare for our next hurricane season. Thank you Precision and thank you Dylan!

Tech was nice and figured out the issue with my door motor pretty quickly. But that’s where the good service ends, sadly. The technician was quick to upsell me over priced goods that aren’t even meant for residential homes, but heavy duty commercial motors. Either I replace my circuit board for the cost of a whole new residential motor or buy a commercial one for an extreme price. There was no in between. This “service” seemed more like a up sale than an actual problem solving and general service visit. Not calling or referring again

Once giving the ok he got the the repair completed well within the estimated time. He then showed me everything he replaced and explained the 7 year warranty on parts.
