I called & Mike Beckum came out the next morning to replace a broken garage door spring. He showed me there was a bigger problem and the whole mechanism needed replacing. I trusted him right away because he could explain what he suspected was going on and the proof was evident. Approving his recommendation the work was expertly completed and the worn out parts were proof they were going bad, avoiding a big problem later on. I know it seems like a non trivial matter, however I know there’s a lot about how garage door mechanisms I don’t understand and I’m super glad I didn’t try to fix this one myself. I will continue to use Precision for any garage door service needed in the future for the quality of work, honesty, punctuality and friendly support. First of all I called at 9:15 am...........At 1:10 pm a technician arrived..... on the same day ! He went over why I was having problems with all the remotes etc, and after a little chatter and re-programming, everything worked just fine. Mike Beckum did a great job of putting my mind at ease, without trying to sell me any more than I needed. Of course the system is not new, however there was no pressure to get more then I needed. Four years ago we had Precision Garage Door replace the motor and install a belt drive on our garage door. Absolutely no problems until two days ago. The garage door would not open. My wife called Precision for a technician to respond. We were given a four hour window on response. Thirty minutes later the technician arrived. Somehow the garage door motor had a glitch and reset the perimeters for one foot, open and close. The technician reprogrammed the motor and made sure all of our controls worked to open and close the door. The technician was pleasant to deal with and very professional. The motor was still under warranty and there was no charge. The customer service was exceptional.
