Was quoted for over $1,700 for a motor replacement. Dealing with a dying parent, I had the first company I found, come out. Wish I did more research. They we twice as much as other companies. When I asked the installer why so much, he said higher quality products. You can get the motor I got for Lowes for $200. I was robbed.

Wow! I called for service at noon and Lyka arrived at 2! He was on time, courteous and provided options that gave me the information needed to make the right decisions for my repairs. There was no upselling or pressure - just his expertise in an area I had no experience with. Lots of garage door companies in the area, but I've been curious about Precision ever since we moved back to Florida in 2021 and started seeing their TV ads. After our door opener stopped opening, and I thought after 4 years it would be a good idea for some regular door maintenance, I set up a Saturday service appointment using Precision's website. Dylan arrived, explained his process for assessing our needs, and then went to work. He let me know that our door sensors wiring connections were improperly done, our door hardware needed general tightening, and our primary door springs were wearing out and were on the road to failure. I gave him the approval to fix all of it, and he was finished faster than I expected. He did a great job!. The door is more quiet now, the springs are working great, he lubricated the chain, and rewired the sensors and refreshed the opener's programming. It cost more than I was expecting, but he did a great job, answered all my questions, and now we feel much better about the condition of our door and opener as we prepare for our next hurricane season. Thank you Precision and thank you Dylan!

After waiting for over two weeks for service from a different Polk County, Florida garage door company that I had used for many years, I was told that the technician would be here on Thursday. After waiting all day on Thursday and not hearing from him by 3:30 p.m., I knew he was not coming. I then called the office and was assured that he would arrive at my residence that day. By 5:00 p.m., with no call from the technician or the company to explain anything, I knew that I nor my business mattered to them. I immediately called Precision Overhead and was greeted by a very professional young lady who immediately set up an appointment for the next day. She also immediately emailed me the information regarding my 10-2 window for the appointment, the technician’s name and other pertinent information regarding the company and its’ employees. What a difference in companies! I called Precision late on Saturday, looking for an appointment one day the following week. They gave me an appt the very next day....Sunday! The gal on the phone, Brie, was very sweet. And, the service rep was courteous, kind, and took the time to explain things to me. I'm nearly 80 and know nothing about garage doors. Our Technician Luke called 20 min. prior to arriving at our house for an evening appointment. That is very accomodating to me, i didnt have to take time off from work and sit around waiting, as you usually do. He troublshooted the issue, and found the problem right away. He went over a couple of options we could take. He had the replacement part on his van, again very efficient, not having to order parts and come back. We elected to do the repair, and he was done within 30 minutes. He lubed all the moving metal parts and gave me some useful information on preventative maintainance. That to me is very professional because the unit was not purchased from them, or covered by any remaining warranty. We discussed some pricing on new equipment if needed down the road, and paid with my debit card. I would for sure use precision again, and recommend them to my friends and neighbors.
