Precision had done excellent work for me before when I lived in Pinellas County. I needed work done in Polk County at my newer home. Precision Service person John Duff laid it all out for me as to what was not done properly when my home was built a few years ago. Typically, someone had cut a lot of corners and now I would pay to fix what had broken. John literally had to rebuild everything but the door to get the right system in place for my large double garage door. It wasn't cheap, but quality never is. But now, I have a modern system, sized correctly to do the job, a wifi equipped Genie professional opener, and a much quieter door. I also have a long-term warranty that I know from experience Precision will honor. I would recommend and use Precision again in a New York minute.

Cody Johnson came to our home to repair our garage door. My wife & I cannot say enough about Cody. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, took time explaining and totally followed through in what he said he would do along with the time to finish the job. Our Garage Door Opener stopped working! One call to Precision Garage Door of Clearwater and a Tech, Jeremy Rossi, came out the same day! Our current unit was installed in 2008 and finally wore out! Jeremy was very pleasant and efficient and had a new unit installed in short time. Jeremy, fully inspected the springs, etc. and made adjustments accordingly. After the installation, Jeremy reviewed the remotes and access equipment with us. He was very organized and respectful and professional!!!

I want to say a huge thanks to Orion and precision garage doors. Orion was amazing he took time to listen to us and gave us options. At the end of the day we could not afford the work and asked to just unhook the springs so we could manually open and close the garage. We were hearing an unusual noise when opening the garage door and called Precision. They were able to come out same day. The garage door can open with remote but can’t close with the remote and someone has to press the key on the wall to close so I called precision garage door becoz there is a sticker on the garage door . This is our first time using this company . The technician told us he has to change the wire and change new set of sensor . I only give 1 star because I found out that the genie sensor set was charged for $242, on Amazon is only $40. I’m sure the price is set by the company , not by technician . I could still accept if the genie sensor is charged $20-$30 more but not 5 times than regular price . I feel like the company take advantage of the customer who doesn’t have knowledge . I totally understand for professional fees is $289 for changing the sensor and wire . The technician Chris is very kind and nice .

This was a warranty repair. But once your tech gave me other options I felt was more in my favorer, I chose to upgrade to a better spring with another full 7-year warranty starting that day. We use the garage door allot!!! I was given a full credit for the set of springs I previously purchased! The job was done in less than 1 hour. He checked for any other issues I may have and did a maintenance on the rest of the parts of the door. The extra steps it what will keep me a customer for life! Well, that and the warranty!!

Arnold Simpson is a great service tech. I called because of a malfunctioning remote & he discovered a bent spring which would have frozen my door both mechanically & manually. He solved both my issues and as a bonus, programmed my car to operate the garage door. If I need service again, I will request him. Hopefully that won’t be for a loooonnng time.

From the very courteous, professional lady I spoke with over the phone (I apologize, I cannot remember her name) this experience has taught me a lesson. I originally contacted the company I have previously used for my garage door and received just awful customer service over the phone. I decided to call Precision and am so glad I did. Precision was able to fit me in the same day. John called to let me know how far out he was. When he arrived he was incredibly professional and polite and really knows his stuff. He showed me what he was doing and explained everything. He was a doll to work with. Thank you again John for everything.
