They had installed the door opening mechanisms in 2007. I called late in the day, and they had arranged a service for 8a - 10am next day. Techician quickly found the springs were too old, weak, and had strained one of the belt drives, causing it to break, which had stopped door opening. Very proffesional repair, knew exactly what to do, changed all three springs, the broken belt, and adjusted both doors. All within an hour or so, and carried it out with expertise. Very professional. After a recent lightening strike we called Precision Door to come to repair our garage door which would not open. They originally installed our door and we were pleased with the service then. They did not disappoint this time either. I had no idea that there was anything wrong wrong until I started to close the garage door and heard a snap sound which turned out to be the chain sprocket breaking off of the unit. I asked the wife to call for service. She was told that they could be here within the next 4 hrs which made both of us pleased. After the service man looked at the unit and told us the cost of repair and age of the unit, we opted to replace our existing unit with a new one with a lifetime guarantee. I was impressed by the knowledge and work ethics displayed by both men. Explanations and options were presented prior to any work performed, and once my choice was made, these two did not stop for a moment until the job was completed. Clean-up was as though they had not even been there. I am delighted with the operation of my unit; so quiet!
